Summer Camp 2026

Sessions: June 16-18 and June 23-25

Registration is now open — spots are limited.

This summer we're taking over the full gym at Basin Recreation for four action-packed, skill-building camp experiences. Coached by Bethany and Anna with support staff on every court, every session covers the complete game — passing, setting, serve receive, serving, and blocking.

3 Days of Full-Court Training

Each session runs three 3-hour blocks of structured, high-rep volleyball training designed to build real skills fast.

Every Skill, Every Position

Passing, setting, serving, serve receive, and blocking — athletes leave with a complete and confident game.

Small Groups, Big Coaching

Bethany and Anna lead every session with support staff on each court so no rep goes uncoached.

Session Details

Boys All Skills — Grades 6–12

June 16-18, 10:30am-1:30pm

Open to male athletes from 6th through 12th grade. All skill levels welcome. Three days of competitive, high-energy volleyball covering every aspect of the game from the ground up.

Girls High School — All Skills

June 23-25, 4:30-7:30pm

Open to female high school athletes at every experience level. Three focused days covering serve receive, setting, serving, blocking, and competitive game situations to get every player ready for the fall.

Coed Middle School All Skills — Session 1

June 16-18, 2:00-5:00pm

For boys and girls ages 11–14. Three days of fundamentals, footwork, and competitive drills designed to build the foundation every great volleyball player needs.

Coed Middle School All Skills — Session 2

June 23-25, 1:00-4:00pm

We'll follow a similar curriculum and coaching plan as Session 1 — we're offering a second set of dates to hopefully make it easier to get your athlete on the court this summer.

Meet the Coaches

Your athlete will be learning from two of the most accomplished coaches in the region — college All-Americans, former professional players, and most importantly, people who genuinely love this sport and love working with young athletes.

Bethany
Johansen Byers

A high school All-American and 1st Team All-State honoree who helped her Archbishop Mitty team win a California State Championship, Bethany went on to play collegiately at UC Santa Barbara before transferring to USC, where she helped the Trojans reach the NCAA Final Four. She then spent one year competing overseas in the Swiss LNA 1. She brings that competitive edge — and the work ethic behind it — to every session she coaches, meeting athletes exactly where they are and pushing them toward what they're capable of.

Anna
Cmaylo-Acton

Anna's volleyball career took her from the courts of Santa Clara University — where she was a three-time All-WCC First Team honoree and three-time AVCA All-American — all the way to professional leagues in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. During two seasons with Dresdner Sportclub, she competed in the Champions League, one of the most competitive international volleyball stages in the world. After retiring from professional play, Anna has been channeling her experience into building a volleyball community here in Park City since 2023.

All Park City Juniors head coaches are SafeSport certified. All staff are subject to annual NSCI background checks.

What to Bring

Sessions run 3 hours — come prepared and ready to go from the first whistle.

Court Shoes

Indoor volleyball or athletic shoes with non-marking soles are required.

Water bottle

Three hours of volleyball is a lot of movement. A large, filled water bottle is a must so that athletes should stay on top of hydration throughout.

Kneepads

Optional but recommended, especially for athletes who are newer to the game.

Snacks

Pack something to keep energy levels up — a granola bar, fruit, or whatever your athlete likes. We'll have a short break mid-session for athletes to refuel.

Hair tie

If your athlete has long hair, please come with a hair tie to keep hair out of their face.

Energy

Come ready to work hard, cheer loud, and have a great session! The coaching staff will bring their energy and want to see players bring theirs, too!

All Sessions Held at Basin Recreation
